My First Blog ...choosing a name!

Hello Bloggers! After spending so much time reading other people's blogs (and lovin' it), I decided it was my turn to give it a try. I first had to come up with a name for my blog. I had absolutely no idea what name to give it. I knew I wanted it to do with my family (my husband Dave, 5-year-old daughter Taylor, 3-year-old son Michael, & me) and our daily life, but ideas weren't coming to me. I didn't want to just use our last name - I wanted something a little more creative. So I decided to Google (I google everything!) good blog names. One suggestion was to use a song title. I thought this was cute and immediately thought of the song "Just Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Vassar. This is a song that Dave and I have liked for the longest time. If you don't know the song, listen to it, and you will see how it pretty much sums up the feelings about my family - even though days can be rough, and times can be tough, I wouldn't change anything about it in the world and feel I am very blessed to have such a wonderful life and live in "paradise." Unfortunately, I'm not the only one who feels this way 'cuz justanotherdayinparadise.blogspot.com is already taken, along with a few other versions. At first I thought I would try to come up with another name, but I just couldn't come up with anything that really meant something to me. I hemmed and hawed about it (goofy words) for a few days. And then, over the holiday weekend, when all four of us were on my in-laws' boat, just enjoying the beautiful day, the song came on the radio. I haven't heard it in a long time, so I kind of felt like it was a sign (I know, silly) to me to figure out how to use the song title for my blog name. After a couple more attempts at the song title, I finally came up with my blog title - anotherdayinparadisewiththewarings. I know it's really long, but it really is the only one that I felt was right. And so the blog begins...
